Saeed Ahmad Khamoosh, General Director of Coordination of Local Council Affairs
Saeed Ahmad Khamoosh, the son of Haji Shir Ahmad, was born in 1351 in Panjshir province. After graduating from the twelfth grade, he joined the International Islamic University of Islamabad-Pakistan and received his bachelor’s degree in law and Sharia from the same university.
Saeed Ahmad Khamoush from 2001 to present with national and international institutions such as from December 2011 to present as General Director of Coordination of Local Councils of the Independent Office of Local Authorities, from June 2010 to December 2011 as International Relations Advisor First Deputy The Presidency of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, from January 2008 to June 2010 as Legal Adviser to the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA from August 2006 to January 2008) as a Legislative Expert on the Parliamentary Strengthening Program, USAID, from February From 2006 to August 2006, he served as Legal Research Assistant at the International Law Development Institute, and from 2001 to 2004, he served as Assistant Minister of Defense and First Deputy Prime Minister of the Interim and Transitional Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
Saeed Ahmad Khamoosh, in addition to being fluent in the national languages of the country, is also fluent in Arabic, Urdu and English.
