Inauguration of AFN 926 Million Worth Common Services Projects in Eastern Kunar

Kunar, July 23, 2019: Government high delegation arrived in eastern Kunar province to inaugurate some projects and meet local authorities, an official said. In a visit to Kunar province, Ministers of Finance, Rural Rehabilitation and Development and Higher Education Energy and Water, Transport and local officials inaugurated welfare projects and said some other small projects have also been considered to be implemented in the province.

“The GIRoA has taken AFN 926 million budget for the construction work of Gemstones Trading Center, Road Graveling, Carpentry Factory and Accounting Institute which were inaugurated and some of them put into service. Province Governor Abdul Satar Mirzakwal said.

He added that, people living in Kunar are optimistic about the implementation of the projects, but they call for more development projects in the province. People in Kunar believe that the money is the biggest fund ever allocated for basic services projects in the province.

Mr. Mirzakwal thanked the delegation for their visit on behalf of people and in his closing remaks added that, these project were recently changed into a collective of other projects that will be implemented alongside in the province.
