Governor of Bamyan Mohammad Tahir Zahir Sunday inaugurated three development projects worth 55 million Afghanis in Kahmard district of Bamyan.
These newly constructed projects include a bridge in Banaq Bala, building of the girls’ high school and water supply network. Representatives of the provincial council and directors of the departments joined the governor in the inauguration ceremony.
It is said that the bridge is built with a cost of 99995735 Afghani through the national development program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD), while the building of the girls’ high school constructed with a cost of 29004269 Afghanis paid by the UNICEF office. The new building has 16 classrooms and a computer room, a laboratory room and other facilities of washrooms, power system, drinking water wells, children’s play area, volleyball court, green areas and surrounding walls.
